I’ve grown to love making watercolor paintings, and mostly because I finally found watercolors that don’t feel like traditional watercolors. Kuratake watercolors are thick, rich and fast.

These paintings are inspired by northern New York and Montreal, where I’ve been hanging around for the past few years.
