Collusions

This section was called landscapes, but none of these are landscapes. I’d be bored painting landscapes.

I like nature but I think I’m more interested in it when there’s human activity within its context. When there’s a record of how we’re destroying the planet, or our relationships. When there’s something strange going on. There are days I pull onto the highway and I swear to god all the cars were parked until my car got on the road, and then they all drive to maintain some sort of illusion.

I retitled this section. These are not landscapes.

They’re collusions. Man and nature plotting something. The world up to no good. Or perhaps cooperating to make your day.
