I spent my 20's as a working guitarist, and my 30's as a record producer and recording engineer. I produced mainly rock records, but I engineered everything from classical to jazz to metal to rap to pop to country to jingles - whatever. I've been through a few major label record deal negotiations, fights with promoters, I've been on tour in the US and Europe, yada yada yada. I understand the needs of bands, and what the industry expects as well.
I used to shoot a lot of live shows but have slowed down on that the past few years because my ears can't take it. I've shot album covers and a lot of promotional shots, which can be a lot of fun, especially if there's a cool concept or some strange props involved.
